IN A FLASH: The Campus Is Her Classroom

Sheren Faraq, Ph.D. (second from right), is the director and assistant professor of the Horticulture Technology program at Kent State University at Salem. She has found that the woods, grounds and gardens in the 100-acre footprint of the Salem Campus offer spectacular opportunities to provide her students with hands-on learning experiences.

Kent State's Regional Campuses offer bachelor's degree, associate degree and certificate programs tailored to meet the needs of the communities they serve.
