IN A FLASH: Four-Legged Flashes on Campus

Dogs and their people came to campus for Dog Days of Summer.

On Saturday, 154 canine visitors and 232 human companions came to Kent State's Kent Campus for the annual Dog Days of Summer event, sponsored by Kent State's Division of Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement. Additionally, 154 dogs and 116 people attended the event virtually and posted photos with the hashtag #FlashesFurever.

For a donation of $5 human participants received a Kent State fanny pack and dogs received an honorary degree in "Barkology." Donations benefit Kent State Police Services' K-9 Program Fund, supporting Kent State's K-9 officers.
