Online faculty/staff parking permit renewals will be available now through May 12. After May 12, permits can be purchased in person in the Parking Services office located in Room 123, Schwartz Center. Kent State University’s Division of Student Affairs hosted its annual employee celebration on April 13 in the Kent Student Center Ballroom. The breakfast event brings the division together to celebrate the employees’ hard work and dedication throughout the year and to recognize integral campus partners.

For the third consecutive year, Kent State University was tops among nine Mid-American Conference (MAC) institutions with eight student-athletes on the 2017 Academic All-MAC Wrestling Team. 

Redshirt juniors Stephen Suglio, of Richfield, Ohio, and Chance Driscoll, Aurora, Ohio, were among just five conference wrestlers to earn the honor for a third time. The Golden Flashes are also the only team with a pair of three-time recipients.

On the weekend of March 11 and 12, the Kent State University Thai Ensemble traveled to Los Angeles to participate in a conference to highlight the restoration of the UCLA Thai music instrument collection donated in the 1960s by David Morton.
