Kent State archaeologist Metin Eren, Ph.D, is using an experimental approach to dig deeper into Ohio's history by recreating ancient artifacts and weaponry with clay to better understand how humans lived thousands of years ago.
On Thursday, April 20, from noon-1 p.m., the Employee Wellness program will sponsor a lunchtime program titled “The Power of This Moment.” All full- and part-time employees are invited to participate in this workshop that will explore how the brain’s reticular system affects perceptions. Kent State University's holiday closure for 2024 will begin Monday, Dec. 23, 2024, at 10:30 p.m. All offices will re-open on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025. Employees not eligible for the paid leave include student employees, classified temporary staff, temporary agency staff, short-term unclassified appointments, unclassified intermittent appointments and employees in a lay-off status. More information on the holiday schedule, including how employees should report time during that period, will be available later this month.
