Visit the Speech Pathology and Audiology Program
Speech Pathology and Audiology (SPA) Program visitation days involve a 45-minute visit, during which you will meet with a faculty member, and take a tour of the program.

Undergraduate Visit Days
Visits specifically related to the undergraduate SPA program are scheduled for the first Tuesday of each month at 11:00 AM (or by appointment).
September 1, October 5, November 2, December 7, January 12 (second Tuesday), February 1, March 1, April 12 (second Tuesday), and May 3
Graduate Visit Days
Visits for the graduate Speech-Language Pathology program are scheduled for the first Wednesday of each month at 10:00 AM (or by appointment).
October 1, November 5, December 3, February 4, March 4, April 1, and May 6.
Your department visit should be scheduled with Dr. Sloane Burgess (undergraduate visits) sburges8@kent.edu or Dr. Ali Barikroo (graduate visits) abarikro@kent.edu or by calling 330-672-2672 (office hours are Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.). You may be scheduled with other students and families during your department visit.
Northeast Ohio Audiology Consortium (NOAC) Visitation
Our fall NOAC Virtual Visitation Day will be Friday, November 20, 2026.
We are hosting a NOAC Virtual Visitation Day on November 20, 2026 from 3-4 PM. Please join the NOAC Coordinator and the audiology graduate coordinators from Kent State University and the University of Akron to learn more about the program and to answer any lingering admissions questions.

Our spring 2027 annual NOAC campus open house will be Friday, February 5, 2027.
Our next NOAC Visitation Day is scheduled for February 5, 2027. All verified applicants will receive an invitation to attend in mid-to-late January, 2027. Please save-the-date on your calendars if you have applied to the NOAC program!
