Meet your Advisors
Rebecca Cash joined Kent State University in 2013 as an Academic Advisor in the Department of Sociology. Rebecca received her Master of Science from Florida International University in 2010 and has worked in academic advising of students in the social sciences since 2009. Rebecca’s goal is to provide students with exceptional, individualized service and to be a resource to students on their path to academic success.
Angela Hoffman recently joined the Department of Sociology Advising Office. She will earn her M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration in December 2018. In her master’s program, Angela has had multiple experiences in higher education. Angela was a Destination Kent State (DKS) registration lab assistant for the College of Arts and Sciences in the summer of 2017. In addition to interning at the College of Arts and Sciences Advising Office, Angela has had internships with the Northeast Ohio Medical University and Notre Dame College. Angela earned a BA in Applied Conflict Management from Kent State University, as well as an Associate of Applied Science in Early Childhood Education Technology. She is also working on a graduate certificate in Career Advising.
