Scholarship awards can be based on a variety of criteria, including academic merit, talent and demonstrated financial need.

Scholarship award recipients need to fill out a SODA (Student Online Donor Acknowledgment Form) before the funds will be released to their bursar’s account.

Complete the (FAFSA) Free Application for Federal Student Aid if you have not already done so. Be sure to designate Kent State University to receive your FAFSA results. Failure to complete the FAFSA will eliminate you from consideration for need-based scholarships.
