The Creative Lab is VCD’s new workspace on the third floor of Taylor Hall where students can access technology and design equipment in a collaborative creative space for all VCD students.
The Creative Lab is located in 321 Taylor Hall and is home to Cricut cutters, a vinyl cutter, a 3D printer, high-quality flatbed scanners, laser jet and large-format inkjet printing. Students may also rent high end Nikon and Canon camera bodies, prime lenses, tripods, GoPros, Wacom tablets, iPad Pros and Apple Pencils, studio lighting kits and more.

The Creative Lab is also home to four photography studios on the third floor of Taylor Hall. The two 1,200-square-foot and two 500-square-foot studios contain top-of-the-line camera equipment, including brand new state-of-the-art continuous source LED lights and Dynalite studio strobe kits. Our studios are designed to accommodate diverse content and working styles, from magazine or fashion shoots to art images, studio portraits, event photography and candid storytelling.

VCD students can reserve equipment and the photo studios at using their FlashLine info to log in.
