Visual Resource Center


The Visual Resource Center computers have moved to room 242. Small-scale printing is available in 159A for students through a Flashcash account. The Photo Lab is open for School of Art students by appointment only. 

The Visual Resource Center (formerly the Art History Slide Room) is located on the first floor of the Center for the Visual Arts in Room 155. The center provides assistance to faculty, staff, and students in finding images for research, teaching, or other university activities. The University Library collection are several images databases: Artstor, the OhioLink Digital Resource Commons, and AP Images.

The Visual Resource Center also provides computing stations, printing, and scanning.  


The Visual Resource Center has a Xerox AltaLink C8035, which prints in three sizes: 8 1/2 x 11, 8 ½ x 14, and 11 x 17. Both single- and double-sided prints are priced at $.07 for black and white, and $.14 for color. All Visual Resource Center computers will send jobs to the Xerox, and you must use Flashcash to pay for prints.

Large-format color printing is currently unavailable.

A digital photo lab is located in the VRC and is available to students (School of Art majors and minors) during scheduled times. Fall 2021 appointments will begin the week of September 20th. For more information or to schedule a time slot in the photo lab, follow the link below.
