The workplace environment here is genuinely the best part. My bosses and coworkers are all so chill and so kind, and my bosses always encourage us to be students and coaches, not just one or the other.

I am the president of SAACS which is the chemistry club on campus. I am doing honors research in organic chemistry under Dr. Christopher Fenk and Dr. Jeffrey Mighion and am finishing up my thesis this semester.

I participated in the SURE program this past summer and I synthesized a crystalline structure that is not in the national crystal database and I was able to get a 3D structure of it through x-ray diffraction that will look great in my thesis.

I love working as a tutor because it is such a rewarding job. Watching a student begin to feel more comfortable and confident with the material and seeing the moment something clicks makes me so happy. Nothing is better than a student reaching out to me after the semester to thank me for my help or stopping me in the hall to tell me how well they did on their final.
