For one day only, Kent State University at Ashtabula provides an in-depth look at healthcare related professions and a unique hands-on experience by transforming the Robert S. Morrison Hall into FLASH MEDICAL CENTER.
Students will arrive for their "hospital orientation" and help assess and treat a patient following an accident. See how Nursing, Radiologic Technology, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Social Work work together in a hospital setting to triage and treat patients. Students actively engaged in all of these areas to problem solve and work together as a team to diagnose and treat the patient.
