Program Effectiveness Goals and Measures for Kent State University at Ashtabula Radiologic Technology 2021-2025 Graduates

The performance of the program is reflected through program effectiveness data as defined by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) (20 N. Wacker Drive, Suite 2850, Chicago, IL 60606-3182, 312-704-5300, www.jrcert.org). Program effectiveness data includes the program completion rate, credentialing examination pass rate, and job placement rate.   1. Students will complete the program in 24 months.
  2. Graduates will pass the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification exam on the first attempt when taken within six months of graduation.
  3. Graduates will be employed within twelve months of graduation.
  4. Graduates will be satisfied with their education in radiologic technology.
  5. Employers will be satisfied with the education of program graduates.

Credentialing Examination: The number of students who pass, on the first attempt, the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification examination, or an unrestricted state licensing examination, compared with the number of graduates who take the examination within six months of graduation. The five-year average benchmark established by the JRCERT is 75%.
