Internships:

IT Support 2000

Arcelik Washing Machine Factory LTD, Information Department, Istanbul, TURKEY

Developed and tested new financial reporting system using Visual Basic.

Technical Service 2001 

Erdemir Iron and Steel Factory LTD, Information Department, Eregli, TURKEY

Built Local Area Networks, developed and tested the new inventory management system using SQL.

Information System Specialist 2002

Erdemir Iron and Steel Factory LTD, Information Department, Eregli, TURKEY

Provided object-oriented design, programming and implementation support to the customer billing system, written in C++. Prepared test plans and data, and user documentation for customer billing system.

Evren Koptur has completed his undergraduate degree in 2003 in Computer Engineering at the University of Bahcesehir, Istanbul, Turkey. He has received his Master’s in 2005 in Technology at Kent State University. At the end of this year, he will receive his Ph.D. in Instructional Technology at College of Education, Kent State University.  His current research is in the area of educational technologies.

Evren has been teaching several of IT and education classes as an Adjunct Faculty at Kent State University for the past 12 years. Additionally, he has taught IT classes for Brown Mackie College for 2 years.
