Restricted ATP Certificate
Kent State University Aeronautics is authorized to certify graduates of specific aviation degree programs for a restricted privileges ATP certificate with reduced aeronautical experience.
This authority allows for pilots with fewer than 1,500 hours of flight time to obtain a restricted privileges ATP certificate. A restricted privileges ATP certificate allows a pilot to serve as a co-pilot at 1000 hours with 60 credits of approved coursework or 1250 hours with 30 credits of approved coursework until he or she obtains the necessary 1,500 hours.
If you are a graduate of the Kent State Aeronautics program and would like to request a restricted ATP certificate, please submit the following documents via the form below:
- Official Transcript
- Copy of pilot certificate (front and back)
