Rockwell Automation Advanced Mechatronics Lab

 

There are multiple classes that take place in this lab, including the electricity/electronics courses, the programmable logic controller courses and the mechatronics capstone courses. Equipment includes power supplies, Tektronix digital oscilloscopes, function generators, Allen-Bradley programmable logic controllers with Logix 5581E processors, analog and digital IO modules, Allen-Bradley MicroLogix control systems, Allen-Bradley PanelView Plus 700 HMIs, Allen-Bradley Power Flex 523 motor controllers, IO boxes (light boxes that represent machinery input/output) and Omni 2000 analog/digital trainers. The computers are equipped with Studio 5000 software to run the programmable logic controllers.
