Council of Leadership Boards
The Council of Leadership Boards is comprised of representatives from Kent State University’s 84 leadership boards which include colleges, campuses, departments, alumni chapters, Alumni Association Board, KSU Foundation Board of Directors, Campaign Executive Committee and the Board of Trustees. Throughout the university, our leadership boards represent more than 1,000 volunteers. Imagine the collective impact we could make by all working together.

"Council of Leadership Boards Campaign Insider Preview and Welcome Home Celebration," Sept. 30, 2021
This invitation-only, in-person event provided an exclusive, first look at the university’s largest comprehensive campaign before it launched to the public during Homecoming 2021 weekend. At this preview, attendees learned how they and their respective boards can play a key role in illuminating a stronger Kent State. It takes an unwavering commitment to create a better tomorrow. And that takes all of us. The evening concluded with a casual, "Welcome Home" reception and dinner celebrating the remarkable accomplishments of our 2021 Alumni Award recipients. "Transformational Philanthropy: Your Leadership Matters," June 3, 2021
This session featured Jim Hodge, who discussed how we are transforming our philanthropic conversations. Information provided in this session had the goal of empowering everyone to feel confident in their ability to share the most meaningful aspects of philanthropy relating to the Kent State area they represent. Also, A few attendees indicated an interest in reading more about the donor-centric fundraising philosophy. Jim Langley is one of the leaders in this area, and we recommend his collection of books.
Design Innovation Virtual Session, March 10, 2021
