Spotlight on Nursing's Caitlin Carter

Caitin CarterLike many seeking a career in nursing, Caitlin Carter said she chose Kent State’s East Liverpool campus because of its location and that it is a two-year program. But, after those two years, she plans to continue her education to earn her BSN.

“I chose nursing because I am passionate about helping others,” she said. “I really enjoy all types of nursing, but I am leaning towards respiratory care.”

Caitlin has worked as a nurse aid at The Assumption Village, as well as a PCA at Salem Regional Medical Center’s step-down telemetry unit. She is currently as a medical assistant at Pulmonary Rehab and Associates.
