The students and faculty from the Kent State University at Salem’s radiology program held a food drive during the past semester to benefit the Second Harvest Food Bank in Mahoning County.
The nursing program faculty and students helped contribute to the food drive, as did other faculty members from the Salem Campus. Jan Gibson, senior director of the Radiologic Technology program, delivered 166 pounds of food items and $50 to the food bank.
“These donations are greatly appreciated and we thank all who contributed to this community service project,” she said.
