The School of Communication Studies and the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting hosted the Spring 2018 Global Issues Forum with the panel discussion, “Advancing Understanding of Climate Change: The Role of Science and Global Communication," on Monday, March 19 in the Kent Student Center Ballroom Balcony. The discussion was free and open to the public.
School of Communication Studies professor Paul Haridakis, Ph.D., moderated the discussion with three panelists featuring:
- Daniel Grossman, Ph.D., Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting, print journalist and radio and web producer;
- Elizabeth Herndon, Ph.D., Kent State University environmental geochemist and assistant professor of geology in the College of Arts and Sciences; and
- Lauren Kinsman-Costello, Ph.D., Kent State University ecosystem ecologist and assistant professor of biological sciences in the College of Arts and Sciences.
