Center for Student Involvement Hosts Commuter Appreciation Week

The Center for Student Involvement invites students to Commuter Appreciation Week, Oct 31.-Nov 3, which also includes a Housing Fair put on by the Commuter and Off-Campus Organization (COSO). The events are coordinated by UCommute to recognize the challenges of students who don’t live on campus, and provide them mid-day opportunities to have some fun. The specific activities for each day are to be determined and will avalable here once finalized.

The events help off-campus and commuting students meet new people, enjoy refreshments, get some freebies and win some great prizes.

“We have Commuter Appreciation Week to show commuter students that there are activities for them on campus and to recognize all the extra effort it requires being commuters,” said Rebecca Kapler, assistant director in the Center of Student Involvement.
