The Hospitality and Event Management Career Fair is an annual event held in spring. Several businesses representing restaurants, non-commercial foodservice, contract foodservice, hotels, event management, country clubs, and casinos attend this popular event. Companies are looking to fill full- and part-time positions, seasonal positions, internships, and supervisory and management positions.

This event is open to Hospitality and Event Management majors, minors and alumni; Recreation, Park, & Tourism Management majors; Sport Administration majors; Event Planning minors; and graduate students in the Hospitality and Tourism Management program at Kent State University. Business professional attire is required for all attendees. Participants are also strongly encouraged to research the companies in advance, engage in mock interviews, research STAR format of responding to behavioral (scenario-type) interview questions, and bring professional copies of their resume printed on resume paper.
