Tuition & Donations

TUITION

The Child Development Center is a tuition-based fiscally independent program and as such charges tuition fees for service.  A yearly registration fee of $50 is due for each family enrolled.  Our fees are differentiated according to age group:

DONATIONS

Fundraising is the backbone of our advancement efforts as a fee-driven budget cannot satisfy all of our needs.  Through your giving we raise essential operating dollars to keep our early childhood programs on the cutting edge.  These funds also provide important unrestricted dollars for the school's general operations.

Please consider giving to one of the funds listed below:

1)  Robin McManus Scholarship for Young Children.

Robin was a kind, compassionate, and skilled teacher who cared deeply about young children and their families.  Recipients of this scholarship are CDC families who are in need of tuition assistance for their children's education and care.

2) Outdoor Leaning Laboratory Enhancement Fund.

Our Outdoor Learning Laboratory is 85% funded.  This fund supports our ongoing efforts to fully equip this outdoor learning space.

3)  CDC General Fund:

The general fund helps to support the professional development of our teachers, is used for construction projects and is directed toward general operations of the school when needed.  You may specifically earmark your contribution for professional development, construction, or general operations or allow your donation to be used where it is most needed.

Donations should be sent directly to the KSU Foundation at P.O. Box 5190, Kent, Ohio 44242.  Please clearly indicate which of the Child Development Center Funds you would like your contribution to support.  Thank you!!!
