Harvest – Ultimate Neil Young Tribute Concert at the Kent Stage
- Kent
Harvest celebrates the timeless songwriting, electric jams, and acoustic artistry of classic-era Neil Young. The band performs two extended sets spanning Young’s career—from Buffalo Springfield and CSNY to his solo work and collaborations with Crazy Horse, through Harvest Moon.
Since 1987, founders Jim Tigue and Eroc Sosinski have performed Neil Young’s music for audiences across the Midwest with Harvest, Tie-Dye Harvest, and the Jim & Eroc Duo, and also formed the popular Pink Floyd tribute Wish You Were Here. Members Peter Telari (also of WYWH), Keith Chelm, and Tim Hamman are veteran Northeast Ohio musicians.
Since 2022, Jim & Eroc have been a musical feature during Music on the Commons, the prelude to Kent State University’s official May 4 Commemoration Ceremony. In 2022, Harvest also performed as part of the Kent State Music Festival, an on-campus Commemoration Week event leading up to the ceremony. The band is honored to commemorate the Neil Young/CSNY/“Ohio” connection at the venerable Kent Stage this coming May 4 weekend.
