The Office of Faculty Affairs in the Office of the Provost is responsible  for the implementation and oversight of all policies and procedures which have an impact on the lives of faculty members at Kent State University from appointment to retirement.

The Office of Faculty Affairs is the central source of information on faculty-related personnel actions, collective bargaining agreements, forms, reports and other materials that are needed to carry out the essential functions of the Division of Academic Affairs which concern our Faculty.

Some other areas and opportunities we support for our faculty include:

  • The Office of Academic Personnel in the Office of the Provost is the central source of information on faculty-related personnel actions.  The staff provide support for a variety of functions specific to Faculty and Graduate Assistants within the Office of Faculty Affairs.

  • The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) has a primary mission to provide opportunities, leadership, and support for all faculty to grow in their scholarly and professional endeavors. The long term aim is to support community members in the process of creating, transforming, and/or maintaining Kent State University’s environments for learning as spaces where all students can succeed.
