FINANCIAL AID DISBURSES TO STUDENT ACCOUNT / REFUND PROCESSING BEGINS (qualified students only)

Due to federal policy, financial aid cannot apply to the student account until 10 days before the semester begins and will be applied on August 12th.  Be sure to accept all financial aid in an “offered” status via FlashLine if you want it to apply to your student account.

If a student has excess financial aid or payments that exceed their account balance, they may be eligible to receive a refund. A refund cannot be issued until the student's financial aid or payments have been applied to their student account. If there is excess funding and a credit balance is created, it will appear as a negative number under your student account balance in FlashLine. To learn more about this process and how to view your refund status in FlashLine, visit  Student Refund Processing.

BankMobile delivers student refunds once they are issued by Kent State. Students must set up a refund preference with BankMobile to receive a qualifying refund.  For more information, please visit BankMobile.
