International Partnerships
International Partnerships
Our partners range from universities to non-governmental agencies, and allow us to increase education and research opportunities across the globe.
Kent State University has a long history of collaborating internationally. Our partners include universities, institutions of higher education, secondary schools, governmental agencies, non-governmental agencies, and private sector companies.
The most successful and active partnerships typically are a result of one or two committed faculty members from each institution who coordinate and promote the collaboration among their peers and students. The International Partnerships Division is here to assist with the development of any formal documentation of the relationship such as a Memorandum of Agreement or contract. You may navigate our website or contact us for more information about these programs.
A Message to our Partners
January, 2018We're excited to welcome another year with you as 2018 begins. Although the spring semester has just begun, the KSU campus is cold and covered in a thin blanket of snow. Students are bundled in warm clothing as they walk from class to class and summer couldn't seem further away. As always, a new year and a new semester mean changes here at Kent State. As the Office of Global Education continues to welcome an increasing number of international students, we are developing new tools to help students from partner universities who plan to study at Kent State University.
We have recently updated our Visiting Student Handbook that addresses the concerns our partners and their students typically have about preparing to attend Kent State. The handbook covers important deadlines, the admission process, finances and pre-departure considerations. We also detail the steps students must take when they arrive at Kent State.
We hope the updates to the handbook help you to better understand the application process and campus life a little bit better and we look forward to the year ahead!
