Homecoming has always been a time to recall old memories and make new ones with fellow Flashes. Let’s kick-off Homecoming week by sharing our favorite Kent State photos on social media with the tag #KentHC.

The Flash Activities Board (FAB) is having a kickoff event for Homecoming Week on the Kent Student Green and Risman Plaza. Come out and enjoy with free activities, food, and gear!
Come out to the second floor of the Kent Student Center to enjoy a fun Kent State-themed craft provided by the Flash Activities Board (FAB) from 12-2 PM.
Come out to the Patio at the Kent Student Center at 7 PM for two hours of Kent State-themed trivia! Free to join and prizes for winners!
Join us as students and alumni showcase cultures and performances from around the world. Free to attend.
Join us for music, fun and fireworks as we kickoff Homecoming Weekend! Meet the 2022 Kent Campus Homecoming Court, Kent State Director of Athletics Randale L. Richmond and Kent State President Todd Diacon. Free Homecoming T-shirt giveaway while supplies last.
Join us in-person for the 21st Annual Bowman Cup 5k Race and 1-Mile Fun Run on Saturday, Oct 1, 2022. The race, named after fedora-loving former Kent State University President Dr. George Bowman, will take place during Kent State University Homecoming.
Can’t make it to campus? Grab a cup of coffee and enjoy a live stream of the parade! Join us online to watch the parade along Main Street and hear from some special guests.
The Kent State University Museum presents the new exhibit “As the World Weds: Global Wedding Traditions," on view through Aug. 27, 2023. This exhibition looks beyond the white bridal gown to the rich and deeply symbolic clothing and textiles linked to wedding ceremonies around the world.
Come join the LGBTQ+ Center, and the KSU LGBTQ+ Alumni Chapter as we celebrate homecoming together after the parade. This no-cost event includes free food, and a chance for students, faculty, staff, alums, and community members to network in an inclusive, welcoming space.
Kent State couples can celebrate the place that brought them together by sharing a kiss on the “K” at Risman Plaza.
Tailgate at a fan-favorite pregame party featuring food, fun and festivities for the whole family outside at Dix Stadium. The first 1,000 fans to visit will receive a Kent State stadium bag! Flash Nation Tailgate - 1:30 p.m. Football Game Against the Ohio University Bobcats - 3:30 p.m.
