Selection Committee

The I AM FIRST committee will serve as the review committee for all I AM FIRST awards. The committee will be comprised of various members of the Kent State University community, including but not limited to faculty, staff, students, alumni, and previous award recipients from all Kent State colleges and campuses. The committee will convene each fall term to review nominations and select award recipients based on an objective review of the applications submitted prior to the submission deadline. In cases where a member of the committee is nominated for an I AM FIRST award, that committee member shall recuse themselves from the review and selection process.
