Franklin Advertising Hosts Campus-Wide Creative Competition

First Annual FAd Awards Honors Best Logo, Photography, Print, Video, Writing, Illustration

Franklin Advertising, Kent State University’s pre-professional student run advertising organization, hosted the first annual FAd Awards competition this spring, honoring Kent State students for creative work completed for class, internships or personal projects. The following students were recognized in an awards ceremony on April 27, 2016:

  • Alyssa Turoczy, '18 (photo illustration) - Best Illustration
  • Emily Thomas, '16 (visual communication design) - Best Logo
  • Kendall Hall, '18 (digital media production) - Best Photography
  • Nancy Wilson, '16 (visual communication design) - Best Print
  • Karen Isaacs, '17 (digital media production) - Best Video
  • Kelly Powell, '18 (journalism) - Best Writing
