OUR MISSION

The mission of the Kent State University Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ) Student Center is to advocate for and foster diversity, equity, and inclusion related to sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression by providing support, programs, educational opportunities, and leadership development for the University and greater community

Our Vision

The Kent State University Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ) Student Center envisions a world where all people are respected, celebrated, and empowered for all aspects of their identity, with particular intention to support sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression. We will continue to be an integral part of the university’s transformative role in a global society by illuminating the need for a culture of inclusion that is conducive to the success of all people.
