Parents & Families Game Day Experience

Parents and family members are invited to help root for the Women’s Basketball team as they compete against Central Michigan in a game that is sure to be filled with excitement. Come celebrate over 50 years of women’s basketball and inductees of the 46th Annual Varsity K Hall of Fame. 

The women’s basketball game will take place on Saturday, February 28 at 1 p.m. in the MACC. Ticket prices range between $7.82 - $10.91 and may be purchased here. KSU students may claim a ticket free of charge online at KSUTix.com under the “student tickets” tab. Please note all ticket sales are FINAL. No refunds will be issued. 

Pre-game activities will be held 90 minutes prior to kick-off in the Pepsi Leadership Lounge located on the second floor of the Student Center. Admission to the event is FREE with proof of purchase of a basketball ticket.

KSU students are encouraged to nominate their families for the Flashtastic Family of the Year Award!  This award recognizes a family whose support, values, and impact have played a meaningful role in their student’s life and success. 

To be eligible, student nominators must be an undergraduate student enrolled full-time at the Kent campus. The Flashtastic Family of the Year winner will receive:

• Four (4) complimentary tickets to Parent and Families Weekend (date tba)
• Lunch with Dr. Eboni Pringle, Senior Vice President for Student Life, during Parents and Families Weekend (date tba)
• Commemorative Flashtastic Family t-shirt for all family members
• Recognition at the women’s basketball game during the Game Day Experience
• Gift card valuing $500 from the KSU bookstore
• Family featured in KSU publications

All nominations must be submitted via this form prior to the deadline of 5 p.m. on Wednesday, February 18. Nominations received after the date and time will not be considered. A kent.edu email is required for access.
