Join us for interactive May 4 trivia (with prizes!) followed by a not-so-midnight screening of two films by Richard Myers. As a film professor at Kent State in the sixties and seventies, Myers created the presented shorts - 'Confrontation at Kent State' and 'Allison' - in reaction to the misinformation surrounding the shootings. 'Confrontation' reveals the many contradictory and biased perspectives held by local townspeople in the aftermath, while 'Allison', comprised of footage of May 4 victim Allison Krause taken unwittingly by Myers' students and narrated by her father, affirms the humanity behind the tragedy.
