Graduates of the School of Communication Studies are prepared for careers across every industry – from international organizations, to the health industry and nonprofit organizations, governmental agencies, marketing and business. The program allows students flexibility to declare a concentration (applied, global, health, interpersonal, mediated, organizational or public communication), earn a minor, study abroad or gain internships and practical experience – all while finishing the degree.

Many have served as division chairs of national communications associations or as editorial board members for communication journals.
