Facilities/Drawing Painting

The painting classrooms are located on the first floor of the Center for the Visual Arts (rooms 187,189). Undergraduate painting and drawing majors have studio space adjacent to these open and airy classrooms. Drawing studios are located adjacent to the painting studios (rooms 173,177).  Graduate and faculty studios are located on the first and ground floors.

All classrooms are fitted with heavy-duty sinks, storage racks, and plenty of student locker space to house supplies. Students often draw from observation at different locations inside and outside of the Center for the Visual Arts.

Open drawing sessions are conducted most Wednesday evenings and are open to current students and alumni. Check in the School of Art office (330-672-2192) to confirm the time and location.
