Seed Grant Projects

Through a competitive request for proposals (RFP) process, the institute awards seed grants to promising research projects proposed by multidisciplinary teams from the KSU community.

These grants are intended to support early research efforts in acquiring preliminary data, upon which the team can build further research and propose more robust projects. If you are interested in serving on the award committee, please contact esdri@kent.edu.

The call for 2024 ESDRI Seed Grant proposals is open now! Please submit your proposals to esdri@kent.edu by February 23rd, 2024. UPDATE: deadline extended to February 29th, 2024.
