HOUSING
Once you’re registered, we’ll take care of housing and/or meals for you—whatever applies to your situation. You won’t need to fill out any extra forms or applications. We’ve got it covered! Housing assignments and move in details will be provided in early May.
DINING
You can find more information about dining options on the Kent State Dining Services website. It’s a great resource to see what’s available and when locations are open!
If you’re receiving a scholarship, you’ll also get meal credits! These will be loaded onto your FlashCard and can be used at Eastway Dining Hall or the DI Hub. Just a heads-up—they won’t work at the Student Center or other nearby restaurants.
Commuter students (with scholarship):
You’ll receive 1 lunch swipe per day. Be sure to use it that same day—it won’t carry over. Meal charges begin May 26 and end June 30.
Residential students (with scholarship):
You’ll receive 3 meal swipes per day (breakfast, lunch, and dinner). Each swipe is meant for a specific meal that day, so be sure to use it as planned. Meal charges begin May 23 and end June 30.
PARKING
Each student is responsible for purchasing a parking permit. You can find all the info you need here: kent.edu/parking.
Just a heads-up—classes will be held at the College of Aeronautics and Engineering, so be sure to choose a parking pass that works for that lot.
