Our Education Abroad program was featured in the national news in Italy to represent the return of students to Florence, and Italy in general, following Covid 19 shutdowns. The Kent State University Biology Graduate Student Council (BGSC), in collaboration with the Brain Health Research Institute (BHRI), celebrated World Brain Day 2021 by hosting the First Annual Kent Brain Day 5K. Over 40 runners/walkers across the United States participated in the asynchronous 5K which occurred during the week of July 18 – 24, 2021.
