Representatives from SmithGroupJJR, the consultant selected for development of the master plan, will provide an update on the planning process and share emerging themes of the plan at two open sessions on Monday, Oct. 2. The Kent State University Office of Sustainability will participate in the Game Day Challenge stadium waste reduction and recycling competition during the Sept. 30 football game against the University at Buffalo at 3:30 p.m. at Dix Stadium. Alexis Bartee is a senior, majoring in insurance studies at Kent State University at Salem. She decided to pursue this particular degree after she began working at an insurance company in Akron in 2012. There, she helped people plan their insurance needs and guided them through the process.
