Hello all, My name is Tyler Maruschak and I am extremely excited to serve as the Director of Business Operations! I love to do exciting things and live life pushing the limits. I really hope to accomplish great things one day and I am hoping to plunge into those great things when I graduate this May! SHANNON MCFARLAND

Hello! My name is Shannon and I am beyond excited to serve as NRHH's Vice President of Recruitment and Retention. besides my position, I am a junior Integrated Language Arts Major and a Resident Assistant in Clark Hall. My hometown is Pittsburgh and in the summer I return home and work in my cousin's restaurant as a server. I love reading, listening to music and drinking coffee.

"Sup Sup everyone! My name is Breta Moore and I am a junior with a History and Anthropology major and a minor in American Sign Language. My passion in history are topics surrounding the Cold War and I intend to do my senior seminar project on issues of identity and nationality in the Baltic regions during the Cold War. Outside of school work, I'm a busy bee and I love being involved. It is rare to see me not busy with either  school work or club work. (If you ever see me- please say hi, I love meeting new people- that's how I get so involved!) I got involved with NRHH my freshman year and Joined because I wants to grow as a leader. On the off chance that I am not busy, you can find me reading comics or playing video games; my favorites being the X-Men and Daredevil, Borderlands and Final Fantasy XIV."

Hello everyone! My name is Nick Gould and I will be serving as your Director of Web Operations! I am pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Digital Science. It has been such a blessing to be able to go to Kent State. I enjoy cycling, traveling, learning new things, meeting new people, and exploring all of the different aspects of Life. I am an Entrepreneur and Visionary. Inspiring others is my passion and making Dreams a reality is my Profession. I am so thankful to be surrounded by amazing leaders within our organization. My love for Kent State, sunshine, black squirrels, serving, traveling and eating is unlike any other. After graduation I plan to pursue my Master's Degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs! Hi NRHH, my name is Katie Turner and I'm the Co-Director of Community Service. I am a senior Nutrition & Dietetics major and I really love to be involved with the community! Amanda is the most perfect Co-Director in the world and we have tons of amazing opportunities planned for everyone this semester! Something I like to do in my free time is sleep. Hi everyone! My name is Victoria Bertero and I am a junior Psychology major with two minors in Pre Law and Human Resource Management. I'm excited to be serving as NRHH's Co-Director of Public Relations for the Black Squirrel Chapter this year! I'm in my second year as an RA in Wright Hall and am continuing to pursue many other leadership positions throughout the year and the rest of my time here at Kent State. Once I graduate, I hope to continue my journey as a student leader by attending grad school to get my Master' Degree in Higher Education Student Affairs.

MEGHAN BLAHA

Hello! My name is Meghan Blaha and I am a senior Public Relations major. I am very excited to serve as one of your Directors of Public Relations this year and continue to promote all of the great things that are happening in the Black Squirrel Chapter! I am in my third year as a Resident Assistant in Lake and Olson Halls and I also enjoy Cleveland sports, spending time with my friends and family and listening to music. In my opinion, Eastway chicken bowls are the best meal on campus. I hope you all have wonderful school year!

ADVISOR 

MARQUITA RODGERS

Greetings! I’m Marquita Rodgers and I am one of the NRHH advisors. As an honorary member of Kent State’s Black Squirrel Chapter, I am looking forward to interacting with the top 1% of residence hall students. I am excited to learn from and work with the membership and executive board on activities and events emphasizing recognition, service, leadership and scholarship. I have been with Department of Residence Services since August, 2006. Currently, I oversee the daily operation of two coeducational residence halls housing over 400 Kent State University students, primarily second year, graduate and international students.  My hobbies include collecting and watching black and white films from the 1930s and 1940s, especially film noir, bringing joy, creating laughter, shopping for shoes and sharing my passion for Hello Kitty with others.
