Student Multicultural Center

Welcome to the Student Multicultural Center (SMC)! In the SMC, we value growth of the individual student, cultural affirmation, empowerment of students, creating a sense of belonging and connecting communities that affirms appreciation for difference. There is power within education and the Student Multicultural Center offers the opportunity for everyone (students, faculty, staff and administrators alike) to have experiences outside of the classroom that will enhance their awareness of social and cultural differences. The SMC is a center that operates as a community, family and a village. We look forward to supporting each student on their journey here at Kent State!
