Who isn’t a sucker for a special treat on Valentine’s Day?
For our special Valentine’s Day video this year, the UCM Social and Creative teams collaborated with Flash and Culinary Services to cook up – or should we say bake – something sweet for our students!
You may have seen Flash walking around Kent Campus earlier this week with cookie pops in hand to share the love and we were right there to film all the action.
Here’s a little behind the scenes info in case you were wondering how it all came together.
To get this idea rolling, we reached out to our friends within Culinary Services to see if they could create a special treat that Flash could distribute easily. The cookie pops were the winning option!
The day of filming the Culinary Services crew had the pops beautifully decorated and individually packaged for us to shoot. Naturally, Flash had to put his own special take on the decorations in the kitchen to film those “baking” shots. Then we packed up those pops and started to walk around campus. The students had a blast seeing Flash in the flesh – well, feathers – and were sure to grab hugs, selfies, and the cookie pops while we had them. In the end, we have a super sweet video to share.
