The health of women, both physical and emotional is a top priority at the Women’s Center.
The Women’s Center supports female identifying faculty, staff and students who find they are dealing with issues of transition or crisis through counseling, referral and resources.
The center provides emergency assistance to students that need additional funding for books, academic supplies, household items, shelter and food. These funds can help a student in a crisis or transition progress toward graduation.
The Women’s Center provides a pantry for members of our Kent State University community in need of food, paper products and personal care items. Funding for perishable goods is also available.
The Kent State University Women's Center, Launch Net and The Career Exploration and Development Center have partnered together to create the Career Closet! Located in the Women's Center, the Career Closet is a place for all students to pick out a professional outfit for interviews and other professional affairs.
Established in 2003, the Women's Center endowed scholarship fund provides $500 scholarships to two qualified Kent State University female identified undergraduate students. Since its inception, the Women’s Center Scholarship program has awarded over $11,000 to student scholarship recipients.
