Biography

Dr. Carrie Berta is a licensed psychologist and the Associate Director at CAPS.  She has extensive experience in college mental health – joining CAPS in 2010 as a Staff Psychologist after completing her doctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship with Northwestern University CAPS. As the Associate Director, Dr. Berta oversees general clinical operations and clinical staff, administrative staff, crisis services, group services, case management services, embedded clinicians, substance use assessment and treatment, and the Collegiate Recovery Community.   While her role is primarily administrative, she continues to provide clinical services to students.
