Kent State hosts dozens of career fairs each year, from a semesterly, major-wide fair, to niche, industry-specific fairs. Cost, location, format, and recurrence vary. Future Focused Friday Workshop


Do you have professional development knowledge you can’t wait to share with students and prospective applicants? Complete the interest form for the option to participate in one of our Future Focused Friday workshops. You’ll be partnered with a CED staff member to present tips and tricks for the day’s professional development topic to students looking for a leg up! Limited availability each semester, so complete the interest form early!  



Flashternships are a unique way to bring students and industry professionals together, all for the purpose of helping students explore career possibilities. Offering these temporary job-shadow experiences is a great way to build your brand within the campus community and help educate the professionals of tomorrow. Learn more about Flashternships here.

Info Table


Information tables can be a great way to engage with students on campus. Bring some giveaways, prepare an activity, talk about your brand, and share with students what makes you a great place to work! Available in various locations across campus at various costs, up to $25 per table per day. Complete the interest form for more information and scheduling availability.

Networking Events


Many of our Career Communities host industry-specific networking events throughout the year. Previous examples include the IS/IT Expo, the Arts Without Limits Conference, Careers in Health and Wellness Week, and College of Aeronautics and Engineering Industry nights. We’re always looking for employer participation. Complete the interest form to connect with an organizer.  

Employer Meet & Greet


Host an informal/casual networking session on campus in a conference or meeting room space at the Kent Student Center. High top tables, tablecloths, and water provided; additional food and appetizers optional via Kent State Dining. Limited availability, 30 day advance request required, and cost starting at $150.
