Christine Moye

Christine Moye is a second level student in the ADN program at Kent State East Liverpool and helps define the “non-traditional” student. She is a mother to three children (ages 17, 12 and 11), owns a daycare and has worked with children for the last 20 years.

“I chose nursing because I love taking care of children,” she said, “but, I felt like I wanted to go in another direction.”

Moye said that, originally, she wanted to become a school nurse. After completing some of her clinical rotations, however, she is not certain which nursing discipline she will settle into permanently. But, she knows that she wants to continue her education to obtain her BSN degree.
