
Kent State University at East Liverpool held its annual nursing pinning ceremony May 8, during which 23 students were recognized for receiving degrees through the associate degree in nursing (ADN) program.

Additionally, six graduates were inducted into the Alpha Delta Nu Nursing Honor Society: Ciara Casto, Katelynn Exline, Mary Guappone, Shelby Householder, Janelle McConnell and Autumn Schafer.
Casto was recognized for receiving the ADN Academic Award for highest GPA; Rachel Steele received the ADN Service Award; Aleah Malleske received the Outstanding ADN Student Award; and Olivia Sheville received the Outstanding Clinical Practice Award.
The Student Nurses Association officers for the 2024-2025 academic year were Casto, Householder, Astoria Poteet and Lucille Suarez.

The Kent State East Liverpool ADN class of 2025 includes Savannah Burton, Ciara Casto, Whitney Clark, Amelia Cuckovich, Katelynn Exline, Desiree Girardi, Mary Guappone, Autumn Heninger, Shelby Householder, Sylvia Kirsch, Tori Lemasters, Cadence Lickwar, Aleah Malleske, Janelle McConnell, Josie Mellott, Amber Nitzsky, Taylor Oviatt, Astoria Poteet, Autumn Schafer, Olivia Sheville, Rachel Snedeker, Lucille Suarez and Kailey Wenowitz-Fishel.
