Kent State University at East Liverpool recognized the academic achievements of several students during its annual Wall of Fame and Honors Banquet, while also honoring other individuals for their contributions to the campus.
Jeff and Jodi Campbell of Campbell’s Signs and Apparel received the Lifetime Achievement Award, which recognizes Kent State graduates for their professional accomplishments and community involvement.
The late Dr. Roxanne Burns, who taught biology on the East Liverpool Campus, was honored posthumously with the Friend of the Campus Award. This award recognizes individuals who work tirelessly to improve the community and who support the university’s mission to provide quality education to the tri-state area.
Bricker’s Cafeteria and Catering received the Community Partner Award, recognizing its long-standing relationship with the local campus and its support of academic success.
Because this year marked the 30th Wall of Fame banquet, several past Wall of Fame honorees also attended and were acknowledged.
