Salem Faculty Recognized for Accommodating Students’ Needs

Three faculty members from the Kent State Salem Campus recently were recognized by the university’s Office of Student Accessibility Services.

Tim McFadden, academic program director for business; Ruth Ann Mullen, assistant professor of nursing; and Andrew Pfrenger, assistant professor of English, were each recognized by the Kent State Office of Student Accessibility Services for “going above and beyond” to provide accommodations and assisting students with disabilities in their academic success.

This recognition is based on unsolicited student nominations. There were 42 honorees from across the Kent campuses.
