Student Government Gearing Up on East Liverpool, Salem Campuses

Officers Gearing Up for Projects, Activities in Columbiana County

 

The Undergraduate Student Government organizations on the East Liverpool and Salem campuses are beginning to plan activities to benefit students, as well as projects that provide outreach to the community.

Students are encouraged to attend meetings to share information, ideas or concerns.

     East Liverpool

     Meetings are held at 2:30 p.m. each Thursday in the Dean’s Conference Room in          Purinton Hall.

     Officers:

     President – Mark Deemer

     Vice President – Marcus Mick

     Secretary/Treasurer – Andrew Prekup

     Meetings are held at 4 p.m. on the first and third Monday of each month in the                Student Lounge.

Greetings:
By the time you read this, we will have wrapped up another successful academic year on the Kent State Salem and East Liverpool campuses. The past several weeks were filled with a flurry of activities that mark the culmination of hard work by our students, faculty, administrators and staff, while also helping to define our place in the communities in which we are based.

Kent State University at East Liverpool held its annual nursing pinning ceremony May 9, during which 30 students were recognized for receiving degrees through the associate degree in nursing (ADN) program.

Commencement ceremonies were held May 10 for the Kent State Columbiana County campuses for Summer 2023, Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 graduates earning associate and baccalaureate degrees.
