Nina Sullivan
Biography
Ms. Sullivan graduated from Kent State University at East Liverpool with her AAS in Occupational Therapy Assistant Technology in 1996. After graduation, she became certified through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) and has been licensed in the state of Ohio since 1996. She worked at East Liverpool City Hospital until 2002 as a staff OTA in several different areas in the hospital and provided services through outside contracts. She served as the hospital’s Planning Specialist from 2002-2009 while earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of Phoenix in 2008. Ms. Sullivan accepted the position of Academic Fieldwork Coordinator for the Occupational Therapy Assistant Program at KSUEL in March 2010 and is responsible for placing current OTA students in 5 separate clinical experiences as they progress through the program. She teaches four fieldwork associated courses as well as the Professionalism in Healthcare and OT Management & Leadership Skills courses. Ms. Sullivan has developed and presented a variety of seminars and training opportunities for new and seasoned fieldwork educators. She is a longtime member of the American Occupational Therapy Association and the Ohio Occupational Therapy Association and is also certified and licensed as an American Heart Association CPR instructor.
